Dave’s Excavating is an owner-operated excavation outfit working the Mini-Cassia area and the Magic Valley.
Licensed and insured, and licensed to install basic septic systems. That last one matters: plenty of outfits will dig a hole for a septic tank, but the install itself is a licensed, permitted job. Ask anybody you're considering to show you theirs.
A mini excavator and a track skid steer do most of what residential and small commercial work needs, and they get into yards and tight lots without destroying everything on the way to the work. Bigger iron isn't better when it can't fit.
The regular route covers Twin Falls, Kimberly, Filer, Buhl and Jerome to the west, and Burley, Rupert, Heyburn, Paul, Declo and Oakley around the yard. American Falls, Pocatello and Idaho Falls run as scheduled route days.
How it works
Four steps, no surprises
- 01Call or text
Tell us what you need done and where. Photos of the site help, and a rough sketch of what you have in mind helps more.
- 02We walk the site
Free on-site estimate. We look at access, slope, soil, what is buried and where the water goes, then give you a written number.
- 03Locates and permits
Utility locates are called before any digging. Septic permits and inspections are scheduled with the health district.
- 04Dug, graded, cleaned up
The work gets done to grade, compacted where it needs to be, and the site is raked back so it is ready for whoever comes next.
